A position has become available for a Head of Distribution and Strategy within a public sector organisation. This is an exciting role that will give the successful candidate the opportunity to have a discernible influence on the successful delivery of the organisation to high volumes of employers.
The successful candidate will need to have the ability to spot opportunities for change and be able to articulate and sell these ideas. The role will require excellent communication skills to deal persuasively with people at different levels of the organisation. Ideally the candidate will have project experience and come from a consultancy background.
The successful candidate will have responsibility for the following deliverables and activities:
* Responsible for exploring and defining a scale distribution strategy, working closely with colleagues including the Distribution team, as well as third party partners, to ensure the distribution strategy is fit for purpose
* On-going ownership and development of that strategy in response to external developments
* Through engagement with internal and external networks, identify threats and weaknesses in the current business model and opportunities to extract greater value for members
* Identify strategic responses to the threats and opportunities, working with business owners and securing approval from the Executive team and Trustee Members
* Once approval received, responsible for the delivery of an action plan with relevant internal departments
* Responsible for regular review of the proposition against the market and disseminating this information across the organisation to relevant stakeholders
