Connections Engineering Recruitment has a fantastic opportunity for an industry leading Subsea Oil & Gas client based in Dyce, Aberdeen.
The Job:
Design and project management of standard and one-off tooling projects, encompassing activities from initial contact with the Client through concept, design, manufacture, build, test to completion of the associated documentation.
Duties:
* Preparation of innovative designs (Solidworks) backed with engineering calculations and analysis.
* Preparation of manufacturing drawings using Solidworks.
* Review and checking of drawings and calculations
Required Experience:
* Apprenticeship in a mechanical trade
* Degree in mechanical engineering or similar
* Experience of working with hydraulic systems
* Experience of designing equipment including hydraulics and mechanisms
* General project management experience
* 3D CAD Experience, ideally Solidworks
